What's also not commonly know is that there were an estimated 40 'runners' out there spreading the word.
I quoted Palin directly. She made it seem like Revere's attempt was to warn the Brits when it was nothing of the sort. Yes, technically, at gunpoint, he DID say that the militia were gathering - BUT THE SOLDIERS ALREADY KNEW THAT. And I notice that the 'defenders' of Palin ignore the whole 'bell ringin' part which, to me, demonstrates that she really DIDN'T know as much of the story as she thought she knew.
But the other part I notice is that you harped on my mention of the Revere gaffe. You picked that one out to INSIST she was right. This is like if you told me the sky was green and I said it was blue and you INSISTED you were right - and later found out that, yes, under certain conditions there IS an atmospheric phenomenon that DOES make the sun appear green for a split second at sunset IF you're on a beach or in the middle of the ocean.
No comment on her not knowing anything about the Korean peninsula?
And, yeah, she IS now a 'true' American. Quitting her job to do publicity. Heck she did the reality show which seems to be the career goal of a lot of Americans now.
And, yes, she did have more "executive branch experience" - but like I've said, she was the governor of the easiest state to govern - a welfare state with a surplus from oil revenues. She was mayor of Wasilla and THAT job was found to be more "show up on Tuesday and collect your paycheck" than anything else (a near direct quote from the current Mayor of Wasilla) since even the police and fire were handled by the state.
She absolutely WAS a rising star - and still has a boatload of popularity. But she IS a polarizing figure. Quitting the way she did isn't going to help her on the national stage. But, I'll be the first to admit, I don't know what her goals are.
It *should* be easy to defeat Obama. What boggles my mind are the incredibly low quality of candidates the GOP is putting out.
We could REALLY use another Reagan - but the Reagan of 1980 would be called a left-wing wishy-washy liberal by the GOP of 2012 which still invokes his name in reverency.

OK, I'm glad you finally are giving up on the Revere thing (as if you had a choice, intellectually) but now you just descended into the morass of the dedicated Palin haters, and as I have no stomach for foolish haters of those better than they..........on this subject I am done with your sophistry.
