My experience with Progressive as far as customer service and care is outstanding. They go the extra mile. We were with them for 6 years before we moved to Florida. Our
motor home insurance with them took a major hike when we moved our policy from New York to here. The change for the car was reasonable. It had to do more with the state than the insurance company. In a token to customer loyalty, they sort of grandfathered us (special discounts and credits) for the first year. The next year I reluctantly had to go elsewhere for insurance. Their rates have been coming down. I'll try them again when the policies come due. I would love to go back to them. This year the best rates I could find were with Geico.
