When I purchased my Yamaha gas cart I purchased from The Villages golf cart store. They were a little more than Ocala but Ocala offered the standard Yamaha factory warranty of 4 years. The Villages offered the Yamaha 4 year factory warranty plus The Villages adds one more year warranty for a total of 5 years. I don't know what Ocala is doing warranty wise today. I was at The Villages Golf Cart Store a couple of days ago and on new carts it is still a total of 5 years. The Villages extra year of warranty covers the same items as the Yamaha warranty.
To me the 5 year warranty would be important. Again the 5 year warranty is on new carts at The Villages Golf Cart Store. I don't know what they do on reconditioned carts but do know it is not 5 years.
