I place the blame squarely on the shoulders of the media for all this excitement. They blow everything up to ridiculous proportions and cause every media hungry charlatan out there to want to get a piece of the media attention for themselves, and it doesn't even matter what 'slant' the particular reporting agency has because they will blow it up to suit their own needs anyway...
