Not sure if these are the type of storage cabinets you're referring to but they might be worth considering: Metal storage cabinets......and they're on wheels!
Ultra Heavy-Duty Storage Cabinet - Sam's Club
I bought 6 of these for garage storage at our home here in OH. They're available at the Sam's Club there in Lady Lake as well. I like them because: 1.) they're very well built for the money (powder coated body and shelves with locking stainless doors), 2.) they keep the dirt/dust/whatever off of whatever you're storing, and 3.) they're on nice locking caster wheels so you can move them to sweep the floor - also makes it simple to reconfigure their arrangement in your garage. "Some assembly required" but it's really straightforward and easy to do.
