It is very crowded when trying to get lap pool time, especially at Seabreeze, from 3-6 p.m.

I agree. Every time I go to Seabreeze between 3 - 6, there are no lap lanes available. Up north, we share a lane if the lanes are all taken. But when I asked if I could share a lane at Seabreeze, I've been told rather curtly, "NO!". I sometimes ask the water walkers if I can swim in their half and they've been very kind to allow me to swim while they water walk. Do lap swimmers at Seabreeze "own their lanes"????
