While you make light of this, for whatever reason, there is a lot of planning going into this by the Democratic mayor and council and the county. You pick up on the squirt guns I assume in a feeble attempt at humor, but the mayor is working to set up zone that will allow protestors to be able to have access to areas close to the convention and within sight. The provision that will not allow the city to not allow handguns was found to be the case AFTER the zones were set or at least the potential zones were set. The squirt guns you find so amusing were part of a list of items not allowed in the clean zone. They are trying to protect everyone without violating anyones rights..and to protect our police officers.
While I still do not understand even the premise for this thread, I assume you are also aware of the many protests scheduled for the Democratic convention and will even give you a link to one of the sites...
