My husband coats the nose of our cars with spray wax and wipes it off every three or four days, depending on how many love bugs are on the car. When you wipe it off, off comes the bugs as well. Re-apply and continue this process for the entire love bug season. You can buy spray wax at any auto store, Wal-mart, etc... Has always worked well for us.
