Just got back from the villages. Getting ready to sell our house here in Texas and finishing up some other things. May keep a rental property or 3 here in Texas. Market is really good here on rentals.
Met Jennifer Parr (sp) coming out of the Lake Sumter offices and had a really nice conversation with her about Austin and our music film festival here. Had my wife take the tour which she learned even more about the villages. She states she will start the Amasian club due to lack of Asian clubs that she has found.
Other things I have learned.
I need to buy a Disney year pass because this place gets better every time i visit.
I learned Lego land is in Winter Haven after I was there
Why is there not one place that serves crawfish in The Villages. had to go all the way to Orlando.
I will miss driving 85.
Bonefish is amazing try the crusted trout
I should not run with my shirt off as i seem to make golf carts and cars run into things.
The job market for me is gonna be tough either I'm gonna have to take a pay cut by half or drive to Orlando. I really don't know how anyone in the area that works can raise a family off wages that i have found. I wont have to work right away so I hope this allows me to find something I enjoy
