Not sure what you mean with this. I would say that the US Constitution, the Declaration of Independence and The Federalist Papers represent the Founding Fathers thoughts and ideals.

Many readers have labelled them "socialist" when asked on the street where certain quotes come from.

I wonder what Allen West would do with Alexander Hamilton's ideas? They do look very much like those found in some "socialist" writings.
