When the light turned green I started off slow because why waste the gas, my car is silver and sporty looking, the Charger takes off about as fast as you can without burning rubber. He was 100' past me in 5 seconds and soon he was out of sight and I forgot about it until now. Makes me think he was trying to bate me or someone else into racing him.

Maybe, but maybe not....might have had a call. My brother in law was a state police officer and one evening he was "haulin' a**" so to speak. Someone took exception to this and got him to stop....not sure exactly how they accomplished this with their car, but Wayne stopped. The civilian began to "read him the riot act" and Wayne just listened for a bit and then drew the driver's attention to the cooler sitting in the patrol car. Wayne was delivering an organ to the hospital.
Guess I sort of give the police the benefit of the doubt more than others might since we had one in the family. Was always happy when he returned from work each day. It's a risky job, without a doubt.
