As for the original question, whether it was all we expected, yes and so much more. Who could anticipate a place quite like this? I don't think anyone has previously seen or experienced anything like TV, and so would be hard-pressed to envision all that is here. I often ask people who are experiencing TV for the first time what their impressions are and most respond with some variation of "unbelieveable". As often happens, when people ask me to tell them about The Villages, my response is usually - "you have to experience it, I can't adequately describe it." The Villages aren't perfect, but like the old saying, they are way better than wherever is in second place.
