I may be confused but the only hole on bogart that may be classified on Canal is the first hole and golfers are facing away from Canal. so it may be that the OP meant Becall. The 6th hole on Becall ends at Canal and golfers have to transverse Canal to get to the 7th hole. so perhaps it was the 6th hole. Why didn't the starters hold up traffic so the guy could have made his shot uninterrupted
