If he can mention how bad it was when he came into office and how bad things were and how we cannot spend any more....AND also be the head of a party who for 3 years WILL not pass a budget for this country.....THEN why stand up and BLAME the Republicans ?
2 And what did you mean about Republicans blocking changes to the tax code ?
I sure hope you are not referring to the Buffet rule !!!
I am sorry for confusing you and that is not being sarcastic...I really mean that !

I still can't see your 'So Typical' point. All the President stated was a fact about what would happen if favorable student loan rates were not extended. I didn't hear his statement live, but I can't imagine what was objectionable about his presentation.
I was the one who 'blamed' (boy, I dislike that word), the Republicans. They are, in fact, delaying passage of an extension to the student loan rate proposal, whatever their reasons might be.
I know the 'Buffet rule' thing really ticks you off. I'll agree that forcing the Senate vote was not apolitical, but that wasn't the President's doing. His mantra since day one has been to increase revenues and stimulate the economy through changes in the tax code. Including, by the way, reductions in corporate taxes combined with the elimination of the most outrageous loopholes.
