Why Ann Stayed Home

I went to BYU Law School for about 10 days back in 1982. There were perhaps 2 women who were in my Class of 1985 at BYU. I got a scholarship offered to me by BYU for Non-Mormons.
Interestly, the men recent fathers got a break. Law professors would not call on you for the usual first year grilling. They had a baby rule that any one taking care of an infant would be too busy to prepape for class.
Went back to law school at the U of MN in 1986 as a Member of the Class of 1989. The U of MN Law School was at least if not more than 50% women. Very liberal in outlook too. Many of the women with kids had their husbands doing much of the child rearing while they were in law school.
