The insurance industry also supported ObamaCare primarily because it would require everyone to opt in. Secondly with government backing pricing was more predictable and hence profits higher. The Pharma's were the biggest supporters. Your post touches on only one of several land mines built into ObamaCare. Nancy Pelose never gets anything right. However when she said "we have to pass it to see what's in it (ObamaCare) she knew what she was talking about and since most of it would only activate after the 2012 election Obama could continue with the ObamaCare lie.

This entire thing is scary. How anyone could support an administration that had the nerve to do this to this country in backrooms...it is terrible. Beginning to see why he had to pay blackmail to his own party to get it passed.
JUST ON THIS ONE SINGLE ISSUE (Although there are many more)..

EIGHT BILLION dollars to run an "experiment" that everybody questions....
EIGHT BILLION dollars from a country with our spending and deficit, for what appears to be just politics.
