I guess I might suggest that there are a lot more egregious examples of the politicizing of federal government spending... and there has been for many, many years by politicians from both political parties. That doesn't excuse such conduct. But it really is nothing new.

While I realize that BOTH PARTIES have been doing things for years.....a few differences, in my opinion.....
1. We were just told by this administration how "vital" the Buffet Rule was and now we prepared to spend 20% of the amount it MIGHT have garnished on an "experiment" on a program that has been running for years.
2. This is just about one of the most openly political moves anyone can make as this spending of that amount of money is for a program that is before the Supreme Court
3. You can show all the pcts you want on spending, but it is EXACTLY that attitude that got us where we are today !
