Thanks for the offer jnieman. The ad that my computer worm sent out from my e-mail address was for "work from home", but the next one might be for viagra or porn, which would be even more humiliating. I did change my password immediately. It's been a week and the problem hasn't occurred again. But now I don't trust Yahoo e-mail or links or the security of my internet provider.
My plan is to convert to gmail which most people seem to feel is superior to other providers. Friends in my address book are easy to notify. But it is such a pain to change my e-mail address with banks and credit card companies and real estate agents and homewatch and vets and doctors and dentists and gas and hydro and condo corp and department stores and hotels and accountants and financial planners, etc., etc., etc. Literally hundred of places to notify. And most of them aren't in my contact list. Oh well, I'm retired.
