Default New plantings..bushes, trees can be "stressed".

We moved into our new home in October. Some of our new bushes now have spots on them and some were becoming a little not full and not healthy looking. We were told that they were "stressed" from transplanting and needed extra water and fertilizer to make them grow faster and become healthier. Since we haven't had much rain that makes sense. We bought fertilizer stakes and pounded them in yesterday and are giving them a little extra water from the hose.

There isn't much nutrition in the sand that they are planted in and we can't use the sprinkler as often as they need.
