My mother lives with us and loves to garden. We have a large vegetable garden in a small plot and some container plants also. Last year I canned tomatoes from the small plot. We had greens--collards, mustard greens, spinach, lettuce, cabbage and brussel sprouts over the winter. Now we have green onions, tomatoes (3 almost ripe), green beans, lots of herbs, blueberries etc. Love eating fresh vegetables. And it looks nice too. However, I have learned from being here almost 4 years that nothing thrives in July and August. Hope the photo uploaded.
