I see that opening a new bag of cat food even the brand we always use, and not a "cheap" one either, can sometimes trigger intestinal illness in our three cats. I worry about the origin and I would do almost anything to protect them.
Cooking and making cat food in the kitchen is not an easy answer because the three of them are picky and will turn their noses up at even salmon or beef sometimes and it doesn't have ALL of the nutrients that commercial cat food has.
It is a huge problem for those who wonder where in the world this food is coming from and how is it made.
We have recently switched to Science Diet and seem to be doing fine with that. Do any of you have any favorites that you think are more reliable?
