Those articles are typical of the way dementia is looked at. They tell you there's no cure. They tell you it's genetic. They try to impress upon readers the fact of how complicated it is (many different forms, etc.) They tell you the cure, if it ever comes, will come from a drug, or some such thing. I would call it "the medical point of view."
In other words, it's just like diabetes, heart trouble, cancer etc.. You must look to the medical community for a solution. In my opinion, it's just more "bull".
Enlightenment, in my opinion, will come from looking at population studies and changing our lifestyles accordingly. Prevention is where it's at and people need to start when they're young.
