Please provide URLs that indicate solar will produce better range. I haven't found one and I've been looking for quite some time.
Actually the 50 miles I think is a bit conservative.
Or maybe you can go 50 miles before you have to recharge SAFELY to preserve your batteries. AC motors use less amps and they will have a Curtis 450 amp controller. I'm impressed
Par car says 80 mile range (with their eight 6 volt batteries and we know that's not true....)
