Just because you're thin doesn't mean your healthy,
for example your cardio vascular system can still be riddled with plaque.
However there is strong evidence that eating a plant based diet not only eliminates your body of most plaque but in doing so increasing the blood flow drastically reducing the chances of Alzheimer.
