I got my last two dachshunds from "Dachshund Rescue of North America." The are professional and caring people whose only interest is in placing the dogs into good forever homes. I got my Frankie there - black and tan smooth hair, and my Diesel there - black and tan mini. Both experiences were so positive - in fact, I still keep in contact with the foster parents.

The website is DRNA.org. You will see that all pictures, statistics and a story for each is posted. You will probably cry, like I did because there are so many sad stories, but we provided a great Villages home for both dogs.
