The poster's idea that Pres. Obama used blackmail for votes and created secret deals with drug manufacturers is not right. The "blackmail for votes" and the "secret deals" are part of the negotiations (horsetrading) that go on with passing laws. You scratch my back, I scratch your back has been going on in every single administration and is part of what is called "compromise".

It does NOT go on in transparent government which this man PROMISED as a cornerstone,
not just a slight remark...
A CORNERSTONE of his administration. And I dont think blackmail is normally part of such a "landmark" piece of legislation at all. Horse trading is one thing....behind close doors blackmail is another...see the votes from LA and I SCAR.
The biggest thing is that he did this all secretly and
DID NOT EVEN ADDRESS THE ISSUES HE WAS TO ADDRESS...NOT EVEN CLOSE.
This is one issue that he got my attention during the campaign...lower health costs, tort reform, etc all done in an open and honest way.
HE DID NOT ONE OF THOSE THINGS...NONE. He lied and you folks will not hold him responsible...that to me, is amazing.
