Those of us living here, looking at the golf courses and trying to grow our own grass
love the rain.
I can however empathize with anyone on a short visit. I remember one summer
years ago when MA desperately needed rain. We took a one week vacation ( I only got two weeks per year) and went away in August to a little cottage on Martha's Vineyard. It rained six days in a row, not showers, but rain. Every weather forecast was the same, "cold front stuck over area, isn't this great as we really need it".
At that moment I could not quite share in the celebration
