Yeah, if anyone keeps posting essentially the same things, I'll probably respond similarly.

I know you think we don't enter into a discussion or debate with you on some of the stuff you post, but speaking for myself there's not a lot to debate. On many of the things you believe are issues, I simply don't agree and having further debate isn't going to do either of us any good.

Take the whole Saul Alinsky thing. Because Alinsky attended a campaign party at Obama's house when he was an old man and Obama was a fledgling politician, do I think that Obama's whole personna, political and social beliefs have been changed as the result? No. You do and that's OK with me. I just don't see much point in discussing it further.

Same with the influence of Reverend Wright on the POTUS. After the crazy minister made his offensive statements, Obama quit the church and was critical of him. I believe and accept Obama's actions. You don't. We disagree. Why debate it further?

Hardly anyone on this forum is going to vote differently in November as the result of some revelation that one of us posts here. But maybe if we all took the time to discuss and debate the really big issues facing the country and the world rather than continually beating up on Obama's character, the time we spend here might be more worthwhile.

I hope you don't take your ball and bat and go home. Sometimes we have fun jabbing at one another. You very often do excellent research which I'm sure benefits all the other members. I'd miss you.
