As I read and understand it...the american way is to vote wherever and whenever you want and have no need to prove you are who you are. Works well, you can cast your vote and then your neighbor cant get out so cast their vote. That guy working on your lawn or your barista, or server in the local restaurant, or anyone you choose.....and their crew...you could have them also vote.
