anyone who really knows about the economy admits that the housing bubble was caused by the Fair Housing laws instituted during clinton's terms, forcing banks to give loans to unqualified applicants...the problem was worsened when bush tried to regulate fannie and freddie and was told by barney frank and dodd that it was not necessary...i remember this argument on tv! this was the root of the world wide economic disaster which occured when bad loans were bundled and sold all over the globe! blaming bush is way too easy, and inaccurate, and i think more americans know this than you democrats want to think about....
