Frankly, Romney was right on !!!!!
This "stunt" will be reversed or changed dramatically no matter who is elected, and there are yet to be any "rules" of his stunt announcement. It was a great political stunt, that I will admit, but that is what it is. It is simply ANOTHER political move using our country as a toy to advance a political plan.
He totally ignored the issue for years.....and no matter how inept congress may be, and they are, he is the President and needs to supply leadership. Both sides in congress are blocking each other at every turn and this man does not even talk to his own party.
It is a stunt, and except for those he aimed it at, it will and
is being seen as such.
Why folks take pride, and you actually are not seeing much of that except for those who are party trolls , in such an action is something that is beyond me and most others of any import. Most are not even discussing it as they know full well why it was done and it just lessens any respect left for this man.
To do this in an election year for no apparent reason, other than "its the right thing to do" is being treated as it should be....a stunt that is again using people. I suppose it just became the "right thing to do" !!!
