Go on the trolley tour from the The Villages sales office at Lake Sumter Landing. It takes about 1 hour, and it is narrated by a Villager. You won't see all of TV, but it will give you an overview of how spread out TV is. Go to some open houses -- both new and preowned homes. There are open houses listed every day in The Daily Sun, and also on
The Villages - Florida's Friendliest Retirement Hometown - New Home Sales, Home Resales, Build Your Dream Home. As a wannabee, I try to ask Villagers questions while standing in line at stores, or in the squares or in restaurants. Definitely go to Lake Sumter Landing at night and dance or just listen to the music. Don't know how long your visit will be, but the square at Spanish Springs is closed for remodeling. When I was in TV last week, I heard the square at Spanish Springs would be reopening in early July, but that date could have changed since then. The stores, restaurants and movie theater at Spanish Springs are all open, so you can certainly visit, shop and eat at Spanish Springs. Have a wonderful time! Let us know what you think of TV.
