It consists of people singing-to-the-choir of fellow like minded ..... incapable of (publicly) admitting that perhaps, perhaps ..... a position or posting they championed just might not be exactly correct.
The above is IMO .... you are allowed to think it sucks and that is ok with me. ;-)

You are correct on all points. I get on the political forum occasionally only because I find it entertaining, but recognize the futility of it for the most part.
