It really is easy to avoid getting stuck, in your car you use a fuel gauge in the cart you must have a
voltage meter on the dash, that will very accurately tell you how much juice you have left when it approaches a certain voltage across the battery pack you'll know the state of charge. Never get stuck, they cost about $50, digital is easier to read.
