No, it doesn't mean all the
people lack those traits. But when the airport van goes thru the other retirement communities around here to pick up or drop off passengers, the other communities look very sleepy--having no "downtown" like our town squares with nice retail businesses all open every night, with live entertainment/dancing etc. every night.
Another comment I've heard from people who looked at other places is that there's not much for one's adult kids and grandchildren to do, like there is in TV.
