ducking a question should not be a problem as we have been conditioned by it in the normal course of the current administration for the last 4 years.

Romney being a novice politician by comparison may even incorporate a little tell them what they want to hear which we have also bee exposed to for the last 4 years.

So in essence there isn't anything Romney can say or not say that will be unacceptable using the Obama administration and partisan measuring stick.

The approach certainly hasn't affected the Obama supporters to date.
