You will get the hang of the abbreviations and slang, LABSX2. I remember when I first found the forum, I didn't know if I'd ever understand some of the abbreviations. I read some of the posters comments containing DH and it took me some time to realize it stood for "dear husband." There are plenty more. If you have any questions, just ask.
