I only know now, as I've always known ever since the Democrats conned George H.W. Bush that they would cut spending if he agreed to a modest rise in taxes and then beat him over the head with that "he raised taxes club" until he was reeling and falling out of the oval office that the "raise taxes" scheme is just one big piece of bull crap to destroy the credibility of the Republicans.

It's the only reason for the insistence for the tax increases to be made by the Republican Congress, and no amount of specifics from you or anyone about all the numbers and margins and what-have-you has any relevance in the partisan call for raised taxes.

Buggy, I am not even addressing because he's given up the ghost in this argument with his above statement that makes no sense to me.
