I got my first smart phone almost 3 months ago -- based on jojo's recommendation -- got a Samsung Galaxy SII. Now the SIII will be going on sale very soon, but Sprint won't let me upgrade for 20 months
. But I really like the phone. When I was in TV earlier this month I used the phone's GPS app when my TomTom could not find a couple of addresses in TV. I use the phone a lot to check the weather, look up recipes, listen to music and to watch the news. Haven't tried to make a deposit to my bank account yet, but Citibank's app. lets you take a photo of the front and back of a check to make a deposit. Chase Bank also advertises this feature. I also bought a "preowned" first generation iPad in March that serves my needs quite well.
memason and Pooh, hope you are enjoying the great Chicago weather. If you are still in Chicago on Thursday, it is supposed to get near 100 degrees! Second driest June in Chicago history -- we have had less than 1/2 inch of rain since June 1.
