We have a lot in Fernandina where the storm drain is almost directly in front of it. Reading this thread has caused my wife and I to reconsider the lot location.
Will it make a difference to change lot location? I mean, if it was drain damage, aren't the drains running all over the place?

I would think anything that survived this storm intact has proven itself. This was a good test. I would only be concerned if there was damage then there might be repeated damage in the future. To me this is the best time (after a big storm) to go shopping for property.
