I have a 52'' Samsung projection style television (model HL/T5075S) that has just done what you described. And everyone I speak with, say it's the capacitors...The warranty has run out, and dont even have a remote for it...But I love it...It had problems coming on one other time, and that's been aprox. a month ago...I have been hearing popping noises and have been a little concerned...Left it on while I slept, and woke up to the sound of a show on cable running through my surround sound, but no picture...I unplugged it, now the cycling happens with no success in turning on...Should I get the repair kit before spending all that money taking it somewhere?.....Someone with some experience or knowledge to this problem please give me some advice...
