1. Wuber was constructed by accident by me. It started as a shortened form for "uber-conservative" which means "extreme conservative" as I think many posters on this forum are. I, one day, made a typographical error and it came out as "wuber". I liked that new word. It still means "extreme conservative". If you do not think it fits you, that is fine and I mean no harm in calling someone an extreme conservative.
2. You may think it is dispicable for me to bring up race but I very much believe that racism is a major part of the reason that Obama is villified. I am not saying everyone who dislikes Obama's policies is a racist. I am saying that there are many racists who will go against anything Obama does because he is not mainstream America in color or name.
3. You may not watch FOX or Beck or Limbaugh but they are the idols of many of the extreme conservatives and just parrot their words.
4. Spiking the ball? Yep, we are doing that. Good reason as this is a major Obama victory. Republicans would be doing the same thing if any part was struck down. Oh, yes, they would! There are quite a few posters on the forum who still say it is unlawful and unconstitutional even though SCOTUS ruled differently.
5. Chief Justice Roberts was right in saying it was the duty of the Supreme Court to rule on the constitutionality of the law and not to determine if it was a good law. There were so many "constitutional experts" from the Republicans who were positive the law would be struck down but they were wrong.
In conclusion, my post had nothing to do with you personally, Bucco. You are a decent guy with strong viewpoints and passionate about your politics.

1. I could care how or where the word came from. I think you know that I object to anyone calling anyone else a name of any kind and then when it is used as such a GENERAL and all encompassing as you use it almost daily I, and this is just me, find the name calling to be insensitive and mean spirited.
2. I really do not care what you think about race. It was NOT part of the conversation and had no place being in the conversation. To make such a general statement that is so filled with hate meaning and to say it and have no idea whatsoever WHO or what you are talking about is just ludicrious. There was racial tension before Obama...it didnt just being with his presidency. And are the 96/98 % of blacks racist....I think there is more voting for him because he is a man of color than the opposite. I just do not like race being brought up FOR NO REASON WHATSOVER.
3. You know I have been on here for about 5 years or so. Heard the Fox and Rush stuff, but do not think have heard the drumbeat on MSNBC or their hosts as with Fox. Actually had a poster on here say that he/she gets all the news on MSNBC and that is the only channel they watch. Yet, that seems to be acceptable. I suppose the ratings that Fox and Limbaugh get...could be jealousy perhaps but it does get old.
4. Glad you are happy and celebrating. WOW....amazing how party rules the hearts of people
5. I am not going to get into the ruling. It is what it is which is the law. I might add however that I never heard the court make so many comments about good and/or bad law, but sure wish I knew how WE can afford this. Didnt hear many complaints on the parts of the bill but a lot on HOW it gets paid for and WHEN we actually address COSTS.
