What street in Belvedere Village had sinkholes and two homes that had to be evaculated???? Yikes. I must have missed that thread!!

I know that our home in Belvedere Village is fine for now. Our neighbours and our Homewatch Company tell us that all is OK. But we back on the Churchill Greens Golf Course with ponds, so I am worried. There seems to be a lot of sinkhole activity in surrounding areas. I feel that sink holes can happen anytime, anywhere.

I'm just wondering .... for years after we purchased in 2007, I heard absolutely nothing on the subject of sink holes. And now, it seems to be a frequent occurence. And not just with the recent rains.

Perhaps Henny Penny was right.
