MY LN52A650 Samsung just started acting up (cycling off and on...and I was not playing with the remote) so I called Samsung. They arranged to have a Service tech from Ocala make a service call to check out the capacitor(s). If the Capacitors are bad, they will be replaced . While here they will also check out the power unit. Hopefully this will be done by wednesday !
When this TV was aprox 4 months old I had the MotherBoard replaced for the TV simply went dead.
Samsung has been good with making repairs covering both labor and cost of parts. TV is 3 1/2 years old..not under warranty. I believe the class action lawsuit settlement was for specific tv models manfacturered prior to December 2008.
