I think that Bogie is right! It's admirable that you went to the effort of sharing your experiences, but sharing with management might help motivate them or give them support in trying to do something to better the situation.
Sometimes all it takes is a little behavior modification counseling or disciplining, but without the support of feedback from patients who have experienced what you did, it might be difficult for management to protect future patients from similar experiences.
Believe me, I know all too well about what I'm saying as I have had to go through the difficult process a number of times with employees I used to supervise!
