The scene I'll never forget is where the Sgt. ordered him to clean and prepare the latrine for a VIP inspection. Pvt Stockdale went all out in the preparation, but went a little overboard in one respect.
When the VIP was brought into the latrine for the inspection and the order of "attention" was given, Will also gave his version of a solute to the VIP. He stepped on a pedal that was wired to all the toilet seats, and in unison all the seats snapped up in salute! You can only imagine the expression of his sargent's face!  |
