Rubio is not the choice of Hispanics other than Cubans so he would not be a big pull.
Alan West is too neo-conservative and would be seen as crazy as Palin was. Romney must have a moderate running mate no matter what the tea party wants.

Oh my goodness. Palin actually endorsed West as her VP candidate (in an interview with Sean Hannity)?
I didn't hear the interview, but I'd sure like to hear Palin's argument why a guy who spent 20 years in the army only achieving the rank of light colonel, then relieved of his command and forced to retire because of a court martial judgement, would be a good choice for VPOTUS?
I really don't know of West's mental state, but this endorsement seems to demonstrate that Sarah Palin has even less good judgement now than she did when she was a candidate for VPOTUS herself. I'd put Palin and West in the same category where Richie placed Chris Christie...
not even remotely close to being ready for prime time.
