George Zimmerman and his wife are now in the unenviable position of going in front of the same judge, who knows they lied about their finances, and convince him they are telling the truth. According to yesterday's newspaper, the judge is not too happy with them and would not have released Zimmerman, given a choice. The Zimmermans apparently thought they were smarter than the officials when they spoke in code and possibly planned an escape to another country.

Zimmerman will probably try to convince this judge he was "standing his ground", but recent cases have resulted in a 40 year sentence for a man in Texas and 35 years for a man in Tampa who tried that tack.
