We will be moving down in a month or so and MIL is coming with us. Was wondering how many other permanent Villagers are in the same situation. It would be nice to have a way to connect some of our parents to meet and share life stories. For example, my MIL was a nurse during her career, but what is more interesting is she was a nurse in WWII and was part of the team that liberated the concentration camp in Auschwitz.
I have been fascinated, and quite frankly in awe by some of the stories she has shared with me.
She is shape in mind, loves people and I thought it would be wonderful if we could help her meet someone her own age.
Well, after all she is 91 and I'm just a spring chick of 70.
Anyway, would appreciate hearing from any of you who may be like us and caring for an aging parent.
