We want to do a 4 nt visit before we take possession of our rental in Springdale on 10/1. Our route is all laid out and relatives have been told which nights we'll be staying with them on our drive south. It was all planned perfectly and then they tried to throw a wrench in our plans! Eek!! I expressed my dismay, since we had tried to book in March. The salesperson we spoke with at that time said she would call us when booking opened up (she didn't), so I wasn't too happy to hear we couldn't have the exact dates we wanted. The gal said, "Well, let me try a different code" and voila! Suddenly, we could have 9/27 for 4 nts. WHEW! Crisis averted.
Now, we just need to figure out how to fit 2 people, 2 dogs, dog stuff, 2 sets of golf clubs (with walking cart for mine) and enough "stuff" to survive for 5 weeks!! Perhaps we should drag a small u-haul trailer??? Small enough issues to have when planning 5 weeks in Paradise!! Soon, I'll be with the best of you!! Can't wait!!

Funny, we decided when we wanted to do the Lifestyle Visit and they put us right into a Designer Home at Creekside Landing......maybe summer is even busier than autumn and winter?
We didn't have the dogs or the golf stuff, but neither did we have our car.
All the homes have washers and dryers.....so you can pack lightly.
We brought way too many clothes..........never used half of them.
Dragging all that stuff through the airports makes one realize it is better to pack lightly.
Anything in the way of toiletries you forget, you can buy at the Publix or everywhere else.......so again, pack lightly.
Obviously, you will be driving......some stuff can go in your back seat.
The rest in your trunk. Have fun. Oh, forgot, the dogs get a seat.
Again, October and November were GORGEOUS WEATHER ; at least we thought so.
It wasn't exactly "cool" but the weather was delightful.........more like springtime to us.....in the 70's.
We only had one "oppressive" front come in prior to the wind and rain storm......humid; but it quickly passed.
Other days were super great. It's a good time to visit. Blue skies, abundant sunshine, white clouds, a nice breeze and to us anyway, perfect weather.
We rarely had to use the air conditioning in the two homes......and kept the big sliding doors open to the lanai and birdcage........ideal weather.
